There were never such devoted…
Oh. I love a good laugh. Any kind — from a giggle to a ripping belly laugh. Do you? Then, you’ve probably bookmarked I Can Has Cheezburger, or subscribed to the RSS feed. Spell checker doesn’t like it, which is one of its most endearing qualities.
Anyway, I was cruising it yesterday and saw this –
It made me think about sisters. And thinking about sisters, my mind jumped immediately to the song in White Christmas — Sisters, …there were never such devoted sisters. It’s performed by Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen as the Haynes sisters, Betty and Judy. A fun factoid: Rosemary Clooney sang both parts. Vera-Ellen was a dancer extraordinaire with million dollar legs, but no singer. Rosemary Clooney had pipes to spare. Click on over here to see another pair of Haynes sisters.
If you’ve got a sister, this probably resonates with you. One of my sisters is about to move a gazillion miles closer. We still won’t be in the same country, but we’ll be just a few hundred miles apart. Yay!
Yep. This definitely makes me think about sisters — the good, the bad, and the annoying. Grin.
