Taking care of business…

November 6, 2008 Leave a comment Go to comments

I’ve got to get back to it — the business of writing. I’ve spent way too much time mainlining election politics. Don’t get me wrong. It was critical, and I don’t regret it. But I’ve become something of a little political junkie, and I can’t seem to get back on track.

We all have serious work ahead of us. Mine includes getting the writing done. That’s my job. My focus. So, right now, I’m taking care of business. What about you? Are you finding it difficult to get back on track? Maybe you were never off track, but if you were…

Taking care of business BTO style — it’s time to roll.

I’m learning how to do things in moderation. I still juggle two jobs, an injured pup and writing but I take my time with each of them and try not to rush around because I bit off more than I can chew.

We used to put the stereo speakers in the window and dance in the street to BTO. Life was so good when we were kids.

It’s not bad now. Thanks for the reminder :)

Doing things in moderation is good. You keep doing that. :-)

I’m going to be singing that one all day, B-b-b-baby :D Randy Bachman plays jazz now I think. Times have changed but we’ll always have youtube to remind us how dorky the 70’s were.

I like to think of it as the best of old school. lol Then, of course, there’s vintage music. I love it all!
