Hanging Out With The Boys by Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter James Hooker, and Valour-IT supporter.
It began on October 26th — the campaign fundraiser for Project Valour-IT. Today is the final day to reach our goal. As of the writing of this post, we have raised $88,975 for voice-controlled laptops and other assistive technologies to support Airmen, Marines, Soldiers and Sailors recovering from severe injuries. Just $11,025 would see us reach $100,000. You can help us by clicking the Donate Here button in the sidebar. Let’s finish strong.
Note: At 4:09:08 pm EST, we have raised $95,976. $4,024 would see us reach $100k. But why stop there? I can’t think of a better way to thank a veteran this Veterans Day than by making a donation to a project that can put some extra tools into a wounded soldier’s recovery tool box.

Here be pumpkins…
Lots and lots of pumpkins. My fave market farm to visit, whenever I get the chance, closes on Halloween. Not permanently. Just for the season. I’m in mourning now.
Look at their bag. Isn’t it fun? Don’t you just want to put things in it? I do. I put things in it all the time.

Could I just borrow the inflatable barn for just a sec? I have plans for that barn.
So many pumpkins. So few barrels.
I have many pictures snapped this month that I want to show you. But if you’ve been following my tweets, you know that we’ve had two computers spin, crash and burn. Haven’t we Mr. G, honey? Fortunately, almost everything was backed up to an external hard drive. Can I get an Amen!? I’m waiting for something to arrive that I can load my camera software onto. Sigh.
October was not the month I thought it would be. Not the month at all. But it was glorious in all its topsy-turviness. WordPress doesn’t like how I spelled this word, but it’s in the dictionary and everything. Come to think of it, they don’t like how I spell my name either.
Yes. I changed my header. Yes, I did. It was time to mix things up again. Add a big ol’ splash of autumnal color. Mission accomplished.
